* UE softball defeats Bellarmine to complete weekend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eliza Piggott went 3-5 with two RBI to pace the University of Evansville softball team to a 7-4 win over Bellarmine in Sunday’s weekend finale at Knights Field.

Game 1 – Ball State 14, UE 6

Ball State scored 10 of the first 11 runs and pulled away for a 14-6 win over the Purple Aces in Sunday’s opener.  After recording the first run of the game in the top of the first, the Cardinals plated five in the second and four in the third.

Jess Willsey led the second inning off with a double and scored UE’s first run of the game on a double by Taylor Howe.  UE added two more in the bottom of the third on a 2-run single by Morgan Adams to make it a 10-3 game.

In the fourth, RBI hits by Kynadee Warner and Niki Bode saw Evansville cut the deficit to five at 10-5.  The Aces looked for more, but stranded the bases loaded.  Ball State put the game out of reach with a 4-run seventh to pull away.  Willsey added an RBI double in the 7th to make it a 14-6 final.

Bode and Willsey posted three hits apiece as the Aces outhit the Cardinals by a 12-11 final.  Elle Jarrett made the start and gave up 10 runs, nine earned, in 2 2/3 innings.  Kate Ridgway tossed the final 3 1/3 with four runs scoring.

Game 2 – UE 7, Bellarmine 4

Scoring three runs in the fifth and three more in the seventh, the Aces completed the weekend with a 7-4 win over Bellarmine.

After Callie Meinel scored the opening run of the game in the top half of the second, the Knights matched it with a run in the third.  The game remained tied at 1-1 until the Aces scored three times in the fifth.  Eliza Piggott hit a leadoff home run while Miriah Powell and Kynadee Warner added RBI hits to put UE in front by a score of 4-1.

Evansville added three runs in the top of the seventh Jess Willsey hit a 2-run single before Piggott’s RBI single put the Aces in front at 7-1.  Looking for a rally in the bottom of the inning, the Knights scored three runs and looked to get even closer, but Sydney Weatherford got out of the jam as Bellarmine stranded the bases loaded to end the game.

Gracie Hollingsworth made the start, allowing one run on two hits in six innings on the way to her fourth win of the season.  Weatherford tossed the final frame.  UE is back in action on Wednesday with a doubleheader at Lindenwood.

* UE baseball matches season-high in hits but falls in extras at Central Arkansas

CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Evansville baseball team took the Central Arkansas Bears into extra innings in the series opener but didn’t find the winning run in the 11-10 loss.

The Purple Aces came back from an early six-run deficit at Bear Stadium as the game went into an extra 10th inning. UE’s offense didn’t have quite enough juice to score the winning 11th run in extras. But Evansville tied a season-high 16 hits in Friday’s game as senior right fielder Harrison Taubert (Casper, Wyo. / Northeast CC) and redshirt junior infielder Kevin McCormick (Orland Park, Ill. / St. Laurence HS) had three hits each.

“It’s tough to lose your starter after the first inning on Friday, but our offense showed a lot of fight to regain the lead,” said Head Coach Wes Carroll after the game. “But we couldn’t find a way to win another close game. [RHP Owen] Byberg needs to give us a good start to get back in this series tomorrow.”

The Aces struck first in the slugfest on Friday as senior center fielder Ty Rumsey (Evansville, Ind. / North HS) hit a lead-off double into left center. Taubert followed up Rumsey’s double with a single to put runners at the corners. In the next at-bat, Taubert stole second base while UE added two outs. Evansville was able to connect on another hit in the first inning as shortstop Drew McConnell (Blue Springs, Mo. / Blue Springs HS) had a long single to left field, scoring Rumsey and Taubert to give the Aces an early 2-0 lead.

But Central Arkansas was able to answer back immediately in the bottom of the first. The Bears scored five runs on five hits and an error to take a three-run lead. That lead was then extended in the bottom of the second with a three-run homer to make it an 8-2 game for Central Arkansas early.

UE began chipping away at the Bears' six-run lead over the next five innings. In the top of the third Evansville scored a run as Taubert was brought home for the second time on a single to left field by designated hitter Matt Flaherty (Lake Zurich, Ill. / Bellarmine). The Aces added two more runs in the top of the fourth as Taubert hit a double with the bases loaded for the second game in a row scoring infielders Ben Stuart (Mason, Ohio / William Mason HS) and Drew Howard (Ferdinand, Ind. / Forest Park HS).

With the game deficit down to only three runs, UE’s offense kept pushing in the top of the fifth. Flaherty led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a groundout in the next at-bat. He then scored Evansville’s first run of the fifth on an RBI single from catcher Evan Waggoner (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence HS). The Aces soon had the bases loaded for the second inning in a row as their next two batters were hit by a pitch and walked. Howard hit a sacrifice fly to right field with the bases loaded, scoring Waggoner to make it a one-run game.

Central Arkansas was able to add a run in the bottom of the fifth as their fastest runner scored from second base on a long single. The Bears' two-run lead didn’t last long as UE erased the deficit in the top of the sixth. Evansville began the inning with a single for Taubert followed by a double from outfielder Jake McGhee (Felton, Mo. / Christian Brothers Academy) scoring the team’s eighth run.

The Aces' next two batters hit into outs in the outfield. But it was Waggoner who connected on his second hit of the day with a double to right center, scoring McGhee for the tying run. Central Arkansas switched pitchers after the double and got the last out of the half-inning. UE kept the Bears from scoring in the bottom of the sixth heading into the seventh tied.

Evansville had another inning where its first two batters had hits to put runners into scoring position. The Aces scored the go-ahead run on their next at-bat as Rumsey ground out to second base, sending McCormick across home plate. After trailing by six runs UE headed into the bottom of the seventh leading by a run at 10-9.

Central Arkansas was able to find the tying run in only two at-bats in the bottom of the seventh. After the tying run scored, Evansville’s defense and relief pitcher Max Hansmann (Elmhurst, Ill. / York HS) locked in for three straight outs. Neither team found the winning run in the next two innings forcing the game into extras.

McGhee walked to start the 10th inning putting a runner on base early. But a strikeout followed by a double play quickly ended the top of the inning for the Aces offense. The Bears also had a walk to start the bottom of the 10th. Their first batter was soon at third base on a hit followed by a sacrifice bunt. Central Arkansas ended the game on the next play as the fourth batter of the inning singled to left center, scoring the winning 11th run.

Closing pitcher Kellen Roberts (Monroe, Mich. / Monroe HS) was charged with the loss. In total UE used five pitchers on Friday with freshman right-hander RJ James (Toronto, Ontario) having the longest outing with three innings of work. On the mound Evansville’s pitchers combined for 17 hits, 10 earned runs, eight walks, and seven strikeouts. Hansmann recorded the most Ks for the Aces with three in two innings of work.

All nine of UE’s starting lineup had at least a hit on Friday while five players had multiple hits. Taubert and McCormick were the only two batters with three hits while Rumsey, Flaherty, and Waggoner had two each. Three batters had two RBIs on the day while Taubert added two more stolen bases to his season total.

Evansville’s second game against the Bears has been moved up to a 1 p.m. start due to projected rain in the forecast. The Aces will look to even the series with junior right-hander Owen Byberg (Barrie, Ontario) expected to start on the mound.

* Aces baseball ties up the series with Central Arkansas in a 6-5 win

CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Evansville baseball team found its revenge for yesterday’s extra-innings loss with a 6-5 win over the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday afternoon.

The Purple Aces offense didn’t step off the gas on Saturday as they churned out 15 hits for the team’s first back-to-back games with 10+ hits this season. Senior outfielder Harrison Taubert (Casper, Wyo. / Northeast CC) continues to be a monster at the plate with another three-hit game, all of which went for extra bases along with leading UE in RBIs with two. On the mound, junior RHP Elias Hachem (Oak Park, Ill. / Mt. Carmel HS) picked up his first career win going 1.1 innings with no hits and one strikeout while facing four batters.

“It was great to win a close game and give us a chance to win a series on the road,” said Head Coach Wes Carroll following Saturday’s win. “Byberg was able to avoid the big inning on the mound. But today comes down to Harrison Taubert. The young man is playing like an All-American at the plate and in the field. An outfield assist to win a game might be the spark this team needs.”

The Aces jumped out to an early lead at Bear Stadium as center fielder Ty Rumsey (Evansville, Ind. / North HS) took first base on a hit by pitch to lead off the game. Taubert followed up with UE’s first hit of the game with a double to left field as Rumsey landed at third. Shortstop Drew McConnell (Blue Springs, Mo. / Blue Springs HS) then ground out to Central Arkansas pitcher giving Rumsey enough time to score the first run of the game.

Evansville added another run on its next at-bat as designated hitter Jake McGhee (Felton, Mo. / Christian Brothers Academy) put a long single into left field, scoring Taubert. McGhee made it all the way to third on the next at-bat as catcher Evan Waggoner (Bedford, Ind. / North Bedford Lawrence HS) reached on a fielder’s choice and McGhee advanced on a throwing error. McGhee scored the Aces' third run of the inning when left fielder Charlie Longmeier (Seymour, Ind. / Seymour HS) put a double down the left field line.

UE’s defense didn’t allow a run to score in the bottom of the inning from the Bears despite a lead-off walk and a fielding error as both runners were stranded on base. Evansville had one hit in the top of the second as second baseman Mason McCue (Bourbonnais, Ill. / Bishop McNamara HS) connected on his first hit as an Ace. McCue put the ball into right center with only one out on the board. But a foul out and a strikeout in the next two at-bats stranded the freshman at second.

Central Arkansas added a run in the bottom of the second as two batters connected on a hit and one runner advanced to third on a throwing error. It was a 3-1 game as UE headed into the top of the third and got a lead-off hit by pitch to start the inning. A single for Waggoner followed by first baseman Kevin McCormick (Orland Park, Ill. / St. Laurence HS) walking had the bases loaded for Evansville with two outs on the board. The Aces weren’t able to bring anyone across home as a fielder’s choice with an out at third ended the top of the third.

It seemed like the Bears were threatening early in the bottom of the third with a lead-off single. But the UE defense turned its fifth double play of the season to end the potential threat. Evansville had two runners on early to start the fourth as McCue was hit by a pitch and Rumsey singled up the middle. A strikeout and then a double play from Central Arkansas ended the offensive inning early for the Aces.

The Bears tied the game in the bottom of the fourth as they hit back-to-back solo home runs to make it 3-3. Central Arkansas followed up the home runs with a single down the right field line. UE was able to lock in and end the inning shortly after as starting pitcher Owen Byberg (Barrie, Ontario / Frontier CC) threw his first strikeout and two putouts.

Evansville’s offense had two hits in the top of the fifth but didn’t bring a runner home. While the Bears took a one-run lead in the bottom of the fifth on a sacrifice bunt after getting both of their first batters on base. The Aces were able to limit Central Arkansas to only one run with a long third out to home from right field.

UE’s offense was able to answer in the top of the sixth as Taubert hit his third home run of the season past the left field fence. The solo homer was the only hit of the sixth for Evansville as they headed to the bottom of the inning tied at four runs each.

The Bears again threatened early in the bottom of the sixth with a lead-off single and a hit by pitch. A sacrifice bunt put both runners for Central Arkansas in scoring position and the Aces made a change on the mound to senior RHP Jacob Jarvis (Farmington, Mo. / Jefferson College). While Jarvis walked the first batter he faced, he got his second batter to hit into a double play by grabbing a lineout to himself and throwing a putout to Waggoner for the third out at home to end the inning still tied 4-4.

McGhee and Longmeier singled for UE in the top of the seventh, but a double play and a caught stealing quickly ended the top of the inning. It was a different story in the bottom of the inning as the Bears had back-to-back walks and a single to load the bases after Evansville switched to RHP Parker MacCauley (Paducah, Ky. / Tennessee Tech) on the mound. The Aces got back-to-back outs on the next two batters, but a wild pitch to Central Arkansas pinch hitter scored the go-ahead run.

UE had a strong start to the eighth inning as McCormick and third baseman Drew Howard (Ferdinand, Ind. / Park Forest HS) had back-to-back singles. Evansville’s next two batters struck out but a balk from Bears pitcher Cole MacRae tied the game at five as McCormick got to walk home. Taubert came up big again for the Aces with his third hit of the game putting a double into right field to score Howard for the lead.

In the bottom of the eighth UE switched pitchers as Hachem made his season debut. Evansville took down the Bears in order for only the second time that day while Hachem threw his first strikeout. The Aces' offense didn’t add an insurance run in the top of the ninth as Longmeier was the only batter to reach base. But UE’s defense had a strong start to the bottom of the ninth with a ground out.

Evansville switched pitchers one last time, putting in closer RHP Kellen Roberts (Monroe, Mich. / Monroe HS) to get the last two outs. Roberts walked the first batter he faced but struck out the second. Central Arkansas got a single to put a runner into scoring position with two outs on the board. The Bears had another single on their next at-bat but a long throw from Taubert to Waggoner made it to home just in time to record the final out of the game.

Eight Aces recorded a hit on Saturday while Taubert and Longmeier led the way with three apiece. Also recording multiple hits on Saturday was McGhee, Waggoner, and McCormick. On the mound all but one UE pitcher recorded a strikeout while Jarvis and Hachem were the only pitchers to not allow a hit.

Evansville will look to win its first series of the season on Sunday afternoon. The Aces' main ace on the mound in 2025, sophomore left-handed pitcher Kevin Reed (Martinsville, Ind. / Martinsville HS) is projected to start for UE. First pitch for the finale from Bear Stadium is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 9.

* Aces women's basketball celebrates Senior Day against Belmont

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women’s basketball team closed out its regular season celebrating its four senior players before dropping the final game to the Belmont Bruins 75-48.

The Purple Aces kept things close with Belmont through three quarters in Saturday’s regular-season finale. But an 18-point run for the Bruins to begin the fourth quarter put the game out of reach for UE. Freshman guard Avery Kelley (Evansville, Ind. / Memorial HS) was Evansville’s offensive leader on Saturday with 14 points and a career-high four steals. Prior to the game, the Aces celebrated their four graduating players, guard Madlena Gerke (Riga, Latvia), guard Alana Striverson (Sellersburg, Ind. / Lindenwood), forward Anica Skrivan (Trebinje, Bosnia & Herzegovina), and guard Júlia Palomo (La Seu d’Urgell, Spain).

It was a slow start to the game for both teams as it took over a minute for anyone to score. Belmont took the early lead with five points, but freshman guard Camryn Runner (Cicero, Ind. / Hamilton Heights HS) soon cut the Bruins lead to only a basket with a three just under four minutes into the game. Belmont responded by getting the lead up to six before another three from Kelley brought it back down to a three-point game. The first quarter ended in back-and-forth fashion with UE getting the last points at the line. With 1:51 on the clock in the first, sophomore forward Maggie Hartwig (Sauk City, Wis. / Sauk Prairie HS) pulled down her 500th career rebound. The rebound made Hartwig the first sophomore to reach 500 career rebounds since Christy Greis during the 1990-91 season.

Down by only three points starting the second quarter, an early Bruins foul got Evansville back within a possession. The Aces tied the game up less than a minute into the second as Hartwig made her first three of the game. The teams traded free throws over the next minute until Belmont jumped out on a nine-point run. Freshman guard Kaiden Kreinhagen (Indianapolis / North Central HS) ended UE’s drought with a three and made the next basket of the game two minutes later with a layup. Evansville’s defense held the Bruins scoreless for over three minutes in the second and then kept Belmont from scoring a field goal in the final three minutes of the half. The Aces ended the first half on a 6-3 run and headed into the locker room trailing by only five.

The start of the third quarter was all defense as the first points of the half didn’t come until the 8:45 mark. The teams traded points for most of the quarter as there were multiple two-minute gaps between scoring. The Bruins had the only true run of the quarter, scoring four points in a minute and a half to get the first double-figure lead of the game with 1:58 left on the clock. UE got the score back within single digits as it was a 47-38 game heading into the final 10 minutes of the regular season.

The start of the fourth quarter was all Belmont as they grew their lead to 27 points. Hartwig broke the scoreless streak with a three with just over five minutes left in the game. The Bruins countered with another run getting their lead up to 30 at one point. The final minute of the game was dominated by fouls and free throws as Evansville made six attempts at the line in under 55 seconds. The six points gave the Aces a 75-48 final score in their last regular season contest.

Three UE players had double-figure performances on Saturday with Kelley leading the way. Runner and Hartwig scored 13 and 10 points apiece while Hartwig led the team in rebounds with nine. Kelley also led Evansville in steals with four, setting a new career high. And Palomo led the team in assists with two in her final regular season game as an Ace.

UE has secured the 10th seed in the 2025 Credit Union 1 Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament. Evansville is set to take on the seventh-seed UIC Flames on Thursday, March 13 at 6 p.m. The Aces won’t go far to play in the postseason as the MVC Tournament is being held in downtown Evansville at the Ford Center. UE is one of only two Valley teams to play in the Ford Center this season as they hosted Drake back in December.

* Aces defeat Stonehill to earn Saturday split

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Niki Bode recorded two RBI in Saturday’s opening game against Stonehill to lead the University of Evansville softball team to a 5-2 win at Knights Field.  In the second game of the day, the Purple Aces dropped a 6-2 decision to Ball State.

Game 1 – UE 5, Stonehill 2

Evansville’s offense registered 10 hits while Elle Jarrett tossed a complete game in a 5-2 win over the Skyhawks.  Niki Bode had two RBI while Morgan Adams notched three hits.

Kynadee Warner scored the first run of the game in the top of the first, coming in from second on a wild pitch.  UE added to the advantage with a 3-run third inning.  Warner and Adams both reached on 1-out singles before Bode brought in Warner with her first hit of the game.  Eliza Piggott brought in Adams on sacrifice fly before Jess Willsey came through with an RBI single to score Bode.

Stonehill got on the board with a single run in the third before UE matched it with a score in the top of the fourth.  Another RBI single by Bode brought in Miriah Powell, who led the inning off with a bunt single.  The Skyhawks got one run closer in the bottom of the frame, but Jarrett kept them scoreless over the final three innings to seal the win.  She improved to 4-0 on the season with two runs, one earned, scoring.

Game 2 – Ball State 6, UE 1

Ball State scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull away for a 6-1 win in the second game of the day at Knights Field.

After the Cardinals opened the day with a run in the first, Evansville tied the score in the third.  Kynadee Warner reached on a 1-out triple and scored on a ground out by Taylor Howe.  The Cardinals quickly responded with two runs in the bottom of the third before opening things up with a 3-run fourth frame to go up 6-1.

Looking to rally in the sixth, the Aces put two runners on with Howe reaching on an error while Morgan Adams drew a walk.  Unfortunately, the Cardinals got out of the jam and would take the win by a 6-1 final.  UE was limited to two hits in the contest.  Gracie Hollingsworth took the loss.  In 3 1/3 innings, she allowed five runs, three earned, on four hits.

On Sunday, the Aces face Ball State and Bellarmine.

* UE baseball rolls over Central Arkansas to series win

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville baseball team picked up its first series win in dominating fashion on Sunday with its second shutout of the year in an 8-0 win over the Central Arkansas Bears.

All nine Purple Aces in the lineup on Sunday afternoon recorded a hit in the team’s series-winning game over Central Arkansas. Centerfielder Ty Rumsey (Evansville, Ind. / North HS) and designated hitter Aaron Nehls (Evansville, Ind. / North HS) were the only two UE players who recorded multiple hits on the day while Rumsey led the team in RBIs with three. On the mound southpaw Kevin Reed (Martinsville, Ind. / Martinsville HS) had another gem of a game pitching seven innings, allowing only three hits, and striking out six batters with no walks. Junior LHP Sam Sandy (Athens, Ala. / Frontier CC) had a strong first appearance for Evansville, closing out the game in the final two innings only allowing two hits and two walks in forty pitches.

“It was another special performance from Kevin Reed to get the series win today,” said Head Coach Wes Carroll following the game. “Offense grinded out at-bats early to get the lead. And it was a good series win on the road.”

It was a quick first inning as the Aces got two walks but nothing else, and then they took down the Bears in order. UE took an early lead in the top of the second inning capitalizing on two lead-off walks as a single from third baseman Ben Stuart (Mason, Ohio / William Mason HS) followed by a fielder’s choice from Rumsey scored two runs. Reed added his second and third strikeouts of the game in the bottom of the second, quickly putting Evansville back on offense.

The top of the third inning was another two-spot for the Aces as shortstop Drew McConnell (Blue Springs, Mo. / Blue Springs HS) led off the inning with a double to right field. McConnell’s double was followed up by a single through the right side for catcher Evan Waggoner (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence HS) to have runners at the corners. McConnell scored on UE’s next at-bat as left fielder Charlie Longmeier (Seymour, Ind. / Seymour HS) reached on a fielder’s choice.

Evansville’s next batter grounded out to first but advanced Longmeier to second. The outfielder would score his first run of the day on the next play as Nehls had his first hit into left field. The Aces held a 4-0 advantage going into the bottom of the fourth where Central Arkansas threatened with two runners reaching base on fielding errors. But two straight flyouts to end the inning kept the game all UE after a third.

It was a quiet fourth for both teams as everyone went three up and three down. Reed added another two strikeouts to his game total in the bottom of the fourth for Evansville. The Bears again got two runners on in the bottom of the fifth. But with two outs on the board, a fielder’s choice to get the out at third quickly ended the inning.

The Aces had their best offensive inning in the top of the sixth as their first three batters all singled. With the bases loaded Rumsey found the gap on the right side to score first baseman Kevin McCormick (Orland Park, Ill. / St. Laurence HS) and Nehls for a 6-0 game. Right fielder Harrison Taubert (Casper, Wyo. / Northeast CC) singled through the left side gap scoring second baseman Mason McCue (Bourbonnais, Ill. / Bishop McNamara HS). UE added its eighth and final run of the game in the next at-bat after a double steal from Rumsey and Taubert had both in scoring position. A fielder’s choice from McConnell that didn’t record an out sent Rumsey home for the 8-0 lead.

Central Arkansas threatened in both the bottom of the sixth and the bottom of the eighth, loading the bases twice. In both circumstances, Evansville’s pitchers were able to work their way out of the jam with a flyout to left center and a double play from second to first base. The double play to end the eighth inning was the Aces' sixth of the weekend to give them 11 on the season.

UE had two runners reach base in the top of the ninth as Longmeier had a lead-off single and McCormick was hit by a pitch. But Evansville’s bats didn’t find a second hit to bring either runner home. The Aces were able to end things quickly in the bottom of the ninth with only one Bear reaching base. A ground out, a pop-up, and a fielder’s choice in four at-bats secured UE the 8-0 win and the series.

For the third game in a row Evansville’s offense had over 10 hits. In total the Aces connected on 11 hits with two doubles from Rumsey and McConnell. Rumsey was the only UE batter with multiple RBIs on the day while Taubert, McConnell, Longmeier, and Nehls added one each. On the mound Reed and Sandy combined for only five hits, no runs, two walks, and six strikeouts in 140 pitches.

Evansville continues its time away from German American Bank Field with two midweek games. The Aces will first visit 2024 NCAA Tournament team SEMO on Tuesday afternoon in Cape Girardeau. They’ll then follow up their game against the Redhawks with a stop in Edwardsville for a Wednesday afternoon matchup with SIUE. First pitch from Capaha Field on March 11 is set for 3 p.m.

* Softball falls to Stonehill in weekend opener

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Stonehill pitcher Laurel Donovan tossed a no-hitter to lead her team to a 1-0 win over the University of Evansville softball team on Friday afternoon at Knights Field.

In the top of the first, the Skyhawks scored what would end up being the lone run of the game.  They scored their run on one hit while seeing two batters walk and one reach on a hit-by-pitch.  Purple Aces starter Kate Ridgway got out of a bases-loaded jam with a strikeout to limit the damage.

An inning later, Stonehill stranded two batters as Ridgway once again was effective in keeping it a 1-0 game.  Niki Bode was the first baserunner for UE, reaching on a walk in the second while Jess Willsey reached on an error and Brooke Voss walked in the bottom of the fourth.

Down to their final three outs, Evansville looked for a late rally as Morgan Adams reached on a 1-out walk.  Unfortunately, a fly out and strikeout ended the game with Stonehill taking the 1-0 win.  Ridgway was tagged with the loss.  In 4 1/3 innings, she allowed a run on three hits while walking four batters.  She finished with four strikeouts.  Gracie Hollingsworth pitched 2 2/3 scoreless frames.

On Saturday, the Aces look to rebound with a rematch versus the Skyhawks and a game against Ball State.
