Todd Matteson is the new assistant professor in the Department of Art and an alum of the University of Evansville. He received his MFA in Ceramics from Kansas State University and comes to us from Lourdes University where he served as chair of the Art department.
Dr. Jessica Lofton is a new assistant professor of mechanical engineering. She earned her PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana and her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UE.
Dr. Holly Carter is director of Harlaxton College Programs in International Programs. She comes to UE from St. Edward’s University where she was faculty associate and director of the office of International Education. Holly earned her degree from the University of North Texas.
Erin Cary is the graphic design specialist in Athletics. Erin is a University of Evansville graduate. This is her first full-time employment.
Jalen Chestnut is a new general maintenance worker in Physical Plant and currently a student at UE. He previously worked at Fred Myer Jewelers.
Curt Chumley is a new maintenance technician in Physical Plant. Before coming to work at UE, Curt was self-employed.
Donna Cobb is a new assistant professor of nursing. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in nursing from UE and is currently enrolled in the DNP program at USI.
Justin Coffey is the new residential coordinator for Moore Hall. Justin previously worked at Franklin College in Residence Life, Greek Life and Admissions. He also earned his BA degree in social studies education and history from Franklin.
Amanda Cox is a new software support and training specialist in the Office of Technology Services. Amanda received her degree from Indiana University, and previously was employed at Blackboard.
Sara Davis is the new accounts payable clerk at the University of Evansville Bookstore. Before coming to UE, Sara worked at BK Flooring in Evansville.
Heather Fenton is a new professor of management in the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration. She received her BBA and MBA at the University of North Florida and is expecting her PhD in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.
Allison Frazier is the new director of stewardship and special events in Development and Alumni Relations. She earned her degree from Indiana University, and previously worked at the Kelley School of Business - Indiana University.
Elaine Freels is a new clerk in Student Accounts. Elaine earned her degree from the University of Southern Indiana. She worked at Noah’s Ark Christian Pre-School before coming to UE.
Lennox Forrester is the new assistant men’s basketball coach. He earned his degree at the University of Evansville.
Jonathan Hart is a new assistant professor of athletic training. He comes to UE from Boise State University where he was a graduate assistant and from Eastern Oregon University where he was an assistant athletic trainer. He is a PhD candidate.
Trisha Hawkes is the new administrative assistant in Financial Aid. Trisha received her degrees from Ohio State University, and Wright State. Before coming to UE, she was employed at Pediatric Dentistry of Newburgh, and the YMCA.
Mohammed Hejazi is a new visiting assistant professor of management. He is a PhD candidate and comes to UE from the University of Toledo where he was a teaching assistant.
Ian Henry is the new assistant coach for men’s soccer. He earned his degree from Missouri Baptist University. Ian worked at Drury University before coming to UE.
Kimberly Higgins is the new assistant to the dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science. She earned her BS in global leadership from UE. Kimberly comes back to UE from Olsen & White, LLP, where she was a legal administrator, and previously served as administrative assistant for UE’s Departments of Foreign Language, Philosophy and Religion and Archaeology and Art History
Emily Hilbert is the new benefits and accounting clerk in Fiscal Affairs. Before coming to the University, Emily worked at Wolverine World Wide in Richmond, Indiana.
Dr. George Iber is a new assistant professor of education. He received his PhD from the University of Iowa. Before coming to UE, he was the TESOL program professor at the Nova Southeastern University Abraham S. Fischler School of Education Graduate Teacher Education Program.
Danial Johnson is our new external affairs intern in Athletics. He earned his degree from the University of Wisconsin. Before coming to UE, he worked in Athletics at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Su Jin Jeong is joining the faculty in Public Health. She received her BA, MA and PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was formerly a research associate with the Department of Health Behavior at the UAB School of Public Health and Children’s of Alabama.
Hannah Kowalski is a new maintenance technician in Physical Plant. Before she came to the University, she was employed at JoAnne's Fabrics Store.
Lori LeDuc is a new application specialist in the Office of Admissions. Lori was employed by Well’s Orthodontics before coming to work at the University.
Dr. Chul Lee is the new assistant vice president of Institutional Effectiveness. He earned his PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Korea University, Seoul. He comes to UE from Elms College where he was director of Institutional Assessment and Research.
Erin Braun Lewis is the new program director to support the GAP program in the Institute for Global Enterprise. She has earned degrees from the University of Evansville and Indiana University. Most recently Erin worked as former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s director of outreach at iCivics.
Dr. Ling-Yin Liang is a new assistant professor of physical therapy. She earned her PhD from the University of Delaware, and her MSPT and BSPT at the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. She comes to UE from the University of Delaware where she was a teaching assistant in the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology.
Dr. Daniel Lin is a new visiting instructor of piano. He recently earned his DM in piano performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was an associate instructor at the Jacobs School of Music and piano instructor in the Young Pianist Program.
Jake Mahon is the new assistant baseball coach. He earned his degree from the University of Evansville, and this is his first full-time employment.
John D. Mason is the new senior business applications developer in the Office of Technology Services, and an alum of the University of Evansville. Before coming to work at UE, he was a math teacher at Reitz High School.
Yang Min has joined the Department of Foreign Languages as a visiting instructor in Chinese. Min comes to UE from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou China, and is a graduate of the same institution.
Dr. Jessica Morel is a new visiting assistant professor of music and director of Orchestral Activities. She earned her DMA from the University of North Texas and was formerly assistant conductor for the Lewisville Lake Symphony Orchestra in Lewisville, Texas.
Cheneta Morrison is the new assistant volleyball coach. She earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and was a graduate assistant at VCU in their volleyball program.
Doug Novsek makes his way to Evansville after coaching at the University of Nevada from 2006 through the 2014-15 campaign. Since 2009, He has served as the associate head coach of the Wolfpack. Doug graduated from Southern Illinois in 1987.
Kevin Owens is a new groundskeeper in Physical Plant. Before coming to UE, he worked at Emerald City Lawn Care
Marshall Ray is now head coach for men’s soccer. Before taking this position, he was associate men’s soccer coach. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Evansville.
Viera Rajcan is the new graduate assistant for volleyball. A UE alum, Viera previously was employed at Sports Performance.
Jose Reyes is director of operations for volleyball. Jose is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico. Before coming to UE, he was a video and statistics analyst for the professional league.
Shannon Richardson is the new lead of distribution services for Administrative Services. Shannon worked in the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, before coming to UE.
Lindsay Roberts is the new associate director for Adult Education. Lindsay earned her degree from Purdue University, and worked there before taking this position at UE.
Emily Fiedler is the new director for Employment Development in the Center for Career Development. She holds degrees from Butler University and St. Mary-of-the-Woods. Emily was previously employed as the sales coordinator at Peoples Furniture.
Joe Atkinson is the new Multimedia Specialist in Residence in the Department of Communication. He is a graduate of Ohio University and the University of Evansville. Joe previously worked in University Relations at UE and most recently has been working as a documentary film maker.
Dr. Rebekah Robinson is a new assistant professor of mathematics. She earned her PhD in applied and industrial mathematics at the University of Louisville, and comes from Humana where she worked as a metrician with the Clinical Intelligence and Analytics team.
Dr. Michael Roscoe has been named founding director, chair and associate professor of UE’s new Department of Physician Assistant Science Program. He earned his PhD in International Health Science from Trident University International in Cypress, California, and is the former assistant dean of Inter-Professional Education at Butler University.
Dr. Brendan Rowley is a new visiting assistant professor of French. Brendan earned his PhD in French language and literature from Washington University. Before coming to UE, he was a French teacher at Atrisco Heritage Academic High School in Albuquerque.
Kiersten Saltwick is the counselor and communication specialist in International Admissions. Kiersten received her degree from the American University of Rome. This is her first full-time employment.
Dr. Peter L. Schmidt is joining the faculty of the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. He earned the PhD at Vanderbilt University. Before coming to UE, he was an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Dr. Kathryn Schwartzkopf-Phifer has joined the Department of Physical Therapy as an assistant professor. She received her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Kentucky, College of Health Sciences and was formerly employed by ProRehab, PC.
Danielle Schuck is the athletic training intern in Athletics. She graduated from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2014. Prior to arriving at UE, Schuck worked for ATI Physical Therapy as an Outreach Athletic Trainer in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Stacey Shanks is a new admissions counselor in the Office of Admission. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. Before coming to UE, Stacey was a business consultant.
Robert Shelby joins the Department of Law, Politics and Society as a visiting assistant professor of Sociology. He is ABD and plans to receive his PhD from the University of Louisville, where he was an independent graduate teaching fellow/graduate teaching assistant.
Martha Stilwell is a new assistant professor of accounting in the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration. She received her Master’s in professional accounting at the University of Texas at Austin and previously was an audit manager by BKD.
Kathy Taylor is a new administrative assistant in Development and Advancement Services. A UE graduate, Kathy worked at Ivy Tech Community College before coming to work at the University.
Sarah Tuohy is a new external affairs intern in Athletics. She received her degree from Southern Methodist University. Before coming to UE, Sarah was a sales coordinator at Learfield Sports for Mustang Sports Properties.
Dr. Bhargavi Bandi is a new enrollment technology specialist in the Office of Admission. She is a graduate of Indiana State University, and was employed there before coming to UE.
Quinn Vilneff is a new graduate assistant in the golf program. Quinn is a graduate of the University of Evansville.
Terry Voges is a new enrollment technology specialist in Administrative Services. She earned her degrees from Western Kentucky University and the University of Southern Indiana. Before coming to UE, Terry worked at Springleaf Financial.
Abbey Weintraut is a new admissions counselor in the Office of Admission. She is a graduate of the University of Evansville. She was previously employed as a manager at Kohl's.
Tyler White is a new development officer in Development and Alumni Relations. Tyler is a graduate of UE, and was previously employed at the United Methodist Youth Home/Acorns, in Evansville.
Emily Wilderman is the new assistant to the vice president of Enrollment Services. Emily has a degree from Indiana University. Before coming to UE, she was employed at Thyme in the Kitchen.
Jayson Wiseman is new head coach for women’s tennis. Jayson has a degree from Ferris State, and was previously employed at Wright State University

Camille Williams is the new records and registration coordinator in the Registrar’s Office. She graduated from Murray State, and comes to the University from Life Touch Studios.
Dr. Pengcheng Xiao joins us as a visiting assistant professor of mathematics. He earned his PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington. He was a STEM teaching fellow for the past four years.
