Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator Sarah Solinsky has been appointed to the NCAA D-I Awards, Benefits, Expenses and Financial Aid Cabinet.
Solinsky, who was promoted to UE's Senior Associate Director of Athletics in June 2010, began her tenure on the NCAA committee July 1, and will serve her four-year term until July, 2015.
The Awards, Benefits, Expenses and Financial Aid Cabinet has oversight authority in areas including, reviewing D-I legislation relating to the principles of awards, benefits, expenses, and financial aid. The cabinet studies issues and makes policy or legislative recommendations related to the provision of financial aid to student-athletes. Regulations of awards, benefits, expenses relating to student-athletes (excluding NCAA championships) are also part of the cabinet's focus.
