There has been a bond between the University of Evansville and the City of Evansville since the institution - then Evansville College - first moved to the city from Moores Hill, Ind. The long history of that connection can be seen in this sentiment printed in the 1922 LinC:  "It is the ideal of Evansville College to maintain such close contacts with the city that one cannot tell where one leaves off and the other begins."

The University of Evansville Language Lab is looking for children to participate in Language Development Research. Needed are: typically-developing children ages 1 to 3 (session lasting 45 minutes), children with Autism between the ages of 3 and 12 (session lasts about 2 hours), and children with Down Syndrome ages 3 to 8 (session lasts about 2 hours).
