Due to ongoing winter weather, slick road conditions, and low temperatures impacting campus, the University of Evansville will be closing at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, January 24, 2026 and for the duration of Sunday, January 25, 2026. All buildings will be locked; swipe card access will be available only at the Ridgway University Center. UE Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic will also be closed.

DINING: Ridgway Dining will be open but may have adjusted options and hours depending on availability of staff. Details regarding adjusted schedules will be posted on the UE Residence Life Facebook page and any follow-up messages will be communicated directly to on-campus residents through email, digital media and/or printed signs on the first floor of Ridgway.

EVENTS: All on-campus events and activities are cancelled. The Night of Memories at Meeks Family Fieldhouse will continue as scheduled Saturday night, as it is hosted by a third party.

MBB GAME: The Men’s Basketball game remains scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Ford Center. The game remains open to fans. We strongly encourage anyone who feels unsafe traveling due to road conditions to prioritize their safety and stay home.
