9:00 p.m. Update - Water Back on to Impacted Buildings
Water has been turned back on to buildings impacted by earlier water shutoff. The University of Evansville campus is under a precautionary boil advisory for any drinking water or cooking water for the next 48 to 72 hours.
Buildings affected are Koch Center, Olmsted Hall, Clifford Library, Hyde Hall, Neu Chapel, Schroeder School of Business (SOBA), and Sampson Hall.
3:15 p.m. Update - Water Outage in Some Campus Buildings; Break Closes Portion of Lincoln Avenue Near Sesquicentennial Oval:
Evansville Water and Sewer Utility has advised that water service to the buildings on the Front Oval is temporarily shut off due to repairs from a water main break. This outage is expected to last until 4:30 p.m. Please use the restrooms and water facilities in Ridgway University Center or Graves Hall during this time.

A 12-inch water main has broken in front of the Sesquicentennial Oval along Lincoln Avenue. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) is aware that this is Commencement weekend and is dispatching all available resources to address the issue. Lincoln Avenue is currently closed between Weinbach and Rotherwood. More updates will be provided as they become available.
